How We Select Our Resources

The sites we recommend vary widely. Some are official sites of professional organizations. Others are governmental sites, non-profit organization sites, or personal sites built by individuals. Some sites have many pages with a variety of resources. Others sites may only offer one or two pages. The one thing they have in common is that they all offer insight, experience, or support.

We have tried to weed out sites that are soley promote an individual, a book or a specific medication. Sites that seem to be opportunistic toward those who might view the site were also eliminated. Renee Payan Wong, who first researched these sites kept asking herself, "What would I want to know about this topic?"

While it's easy to be overwhelmed by the larger content-rich sites, be sure to check out some of the smaller, personal sites. Many have inspiring first-person essays or stories that are worth reading.

The sites are listed alphabetically, to avoid having to rank and compare such diverse sites.

We will continue to add topics and sites to this section. If you know of any sites that you would like to recommend or topics you that would like to see covered, please email us at comments@support4change.com.

but small ones surround us daily.
