A Balancing Act

Balance something on the top of your head for 60 seconds |

Here's a hint for doing this Take-a-Break: it doesn't have to be something you would find difficult to do, like using a heavy book or a week's pile of "The Los Angeles Times," which would slide right off. You could use anything at all (preferably not something breakable). The only requirement is that you balance it for one minute. I just did it with a stuffed Pentium doll. It gave him a different view than he usually has on his usual perch on the top of my computer.
By the way, I found it helped if I closed my eyes to block out the computer screen, since I was trying to do this as a break from writing.
